My wins on doing the Narconon program and getting off drugs are that my perceptions changed on why I was doing drugs. I decided for myself that I wanted to live life, be clean, and do what I am supposed to do. I thank God for Narconon─I don’t think I would be alive without it.
Narconon Arrowhead Promotes National Take-Back Day
On National Take Back Day people are encouraged to go through their homes and find any unused, old drugs and drop them off at “take back” locations throughout the community. Officials then destroy these old drugs so that they can’t negatively affect anyone in the household.
Narconon Arrowhead Issues Message in Remembrance to Those Lost to Addiction
During the holiday season this year, the staff and students of Narconon Arrowhead are busy celebrating with a variety of activities. They kicked off the holidays with a Deck the Halls party, where everyone helped to decorate the building and hang ornaments on the large Christmas tree in the lodge.

On the first Saturday of December, the staff and students of Narconon Arrowhead gathered for the center’s annual “Deck the Halls” Christmas party. Later in December, the center was involved two local Christmas parades where the students helped to decorate the Narconon Arrowhead float.

From October 23rd through the 31st, the staff and students of Narconon Arrowhead celebrated Red Ribbon Week, an annual event which is part of the broader Nationwide Red Ribbon Campaign, sponsored by the National Family Partnership.

Narconon Arrowhead has adopted the tradition of celebrating Red Ribbon Week, and this year they are taking part from the 21st through the 31st of October. The theme of Red Ribbon Week 2014 is “Love Yourself. Be Drug-Free.”
Narconon Arrowhead Observes Family Fun Month
In recognition of the vital importance of family in helping people avoid drug abuse and addiction, Narconon Arrowhead has been celebrating Family Fun Month throughout the month of August. The campaign is intended to help families come together and forge stronger relationships with one another through fun and engaging activities
Narconon Arrowhead Has Yearly Fireworks Show for 4th of July
By performing outreach activities, the center can help the community keep its rates of addiction and crime down. A great example of an activity that serves both the community and the families of clients is the center’s annual fireworks display for the Fourth of July.
Narconon Arrowhead Promotes Coloring Book for National Recovery Month
September is National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, an event sponsored by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Narconon Arrowhead is promoting the focus on early intervention with a coloring book for children that reinforces the positive aspects of a drug-free life.
