TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I have worked in the field of drug education and related topics for at least 15 years of my life. During this time I have had contact with numerous individuals and groups who were working with the drug dependent, and over the past two years I have been in contact with the Narconon Society of British Columbia.
This group, which operates a voluntary rehabilitation programme, has struck my attention as being a group very much concerned with the welfare and rehabilitation of addicts and drug users. While I have not had extensive involvement with their treatment approach, I can say that after interviewing the Narconon staff and some of the students, I find their approach to be stimulating and effective.
I believe that their voluntary approach is one of the more effective ones I have seen, the staff are enthusiastic and dedicated and the programme is arranged in such a way as to help those who want to get off drugs.
I support Narconon and ask that they receive support from other community agencies, as well as government agencies, in their quest to assist the drug dependent.
Sincerely yours,

Mr. Fred McInnis
Acting President
