Seven Former Inmates of Arizona State Prison will be Readmitted
Phoenix Gazette (Arizona Edition) Article: Friday, February 20, 1970
When a convict says goodby to a prison you can be sure he never wants to see the joint again. Not of his own free will, anyway.
But seven former inmates of Arizona State Prison will be readmitted March 1 to join with 85 prisoners in a congress sponsored by Narconon.
Narconon is an organization devoted to the rehabilitation of narcotic adicts.
The congress will present enforcement officers concentrating on drug abuse, counselors, and former addicts and pushers. Prison authorities have okayed the affair… because they say, Narconon works.
