There’s a wide array of prescription drugs that are popularly abused, and a few that can be obtained over the counter (OTC). These OTC drugs are of special concern because in some areas, the sale of these drugs is not restricted, meaning that a child may be able to buy or shoplift them in some states. There is nothing in the way of a child abusing these substances without a parent’s knowledge.
